Francesco Acquista in StockholmFrancesco Acquista was born in 1975. He studied piano under Corrado De Marco and Giuseppe Scotese, Composition under Claudio Perugini and Ivan Vandor and Choral Conducting under Claudio Dall'Albero at the Conservatory of Music "S.Cecilia" in Rome. He acquired Bachelor in Choral Music and Choir Conduction at the Conservatory of Music "S.Pietro a Majella" of Naples. He also studied Choir Conduction, Choral Composition, Piano, Physiology and technical of singing, Organ, Basso Continuo and Gregorian Chant at the "Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music" in Rome.

He was Senior Organist and Chapel Master in the church of "S.Francesco d'Assisi a Ripa Grande" in Rome, Senior Organist and Chapel Master of the "Venerabile Arciconfraternita di S.Maria dell'Orto" in Rome, Chapel Master at the Basilica of "S.Ignazio" in Rome, Senior Organist of "S.Andrea al Quirinale" church, Senior Organist of "Venerabile Arciconfraternita Vaticana di Sant'Anna de'Parafrenieri" in Rome. He has directed the Polyphonic Choirs "Parva Pharmacopea", "Re acuti", "Cajetani Cantores", "Tetrardus", "Collegium Musicum Romanum" and "Domenico Bartolucci."
He was a member of the diocesan commission of sacred music of the diocese of Isernia-Venafro.
